Michael Madsen born as Michael Soren Madsen on September 25th, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois is a macho Hollywood actor who is best known for his 'villainous image' on screen. Michael Madsen was born to Elaine nee Melson, an Emmy-winning poet, producer and playwright and Calvin Madsen who works as a fireman. Michael Madsen has two sisters Cheri, a restaurant owner and Virginia Madsen, a Hollywood actress. Michael Madsen had a troubled childhood after his parents got separated when he was nine years old. He indulged in stealing and had even been to jail a few times.
Michael Madsen made his beginning in acting with the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago and studied acting under John Malkovich. His movie career began with a small role in "WarGames" {1983} and has since appeared in several movies playing villainous characters such as a mentally deranged killer in "Kill Me Again" {1989} and the tough boyfriend with a soft heart for his girl in "Thelma & Louise" {1991}. Michael Madsen's finest moments came with the role of a sadistic conman and jewel thief in "Reservoir Dogs" {1992}. He has also given scintillating performances in movies such as "Species" {1995}, "Donnie Brasco" {1997}, "Kill Bill" {2003} and its sequels. Michael Madsen has also played different softer characters in several movies such as "Free Willy" {1993} and its sequel "Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home" {1995}. Michael Madsen won an award for his performance in Strength and Honour {2007} at Boston Film Festival.
Michael Madsen was married to Jeannine Bisignano, with who he has two sons. Soon after the divorce, he married Georganne LaPiere and divorced her too before entering into third marriage with De Anna Morgan on April 15th 1996. The couple together has three sons.
